Post-Op Visit: Day 1

I had a post-op visit with my surgeon one day after surgery at 3pm. He didn’t have regular office hours today and just came in to see patients he operated on yesterday to see if they’re healing properly. He asked how I was doing and whether I was having any pain. He then checked my eye vision (my operated eye saw more poorly than it did before the surgery, but he said that was normal because I was recovering). He measured my eyes with the prism bar, and then asked me to look at different directions. He mentioned that my eyes appear straight now, but we won’t be able to truly assess the true outcome until at least 2-3 weeks to 6 months. My next visit with him will be in 2-3 weeks.
